How License Removal Works
You can only reduce or remove licenses during a specific window based on your subscription type.
1️⃣ Month-to-Month Subscription (NCE COM MTH)
- Customers can reduce or cancel licenses every month upon renewal.
- The 7-day cancellation window applies at the beginning of each billing cycle (monthly).
- If you miss this window, you must continue paying for the licenses until the next month’s renewal.
Example:
- If you have 10 licenses and want to reduce to 5, you must request this within 7 days of the new billing cycle.
- If the window closes, you must wait until the next month to make changes.
2️⃣ Annual Commitment Billed Monthly (NCE COM ANN - P1YM)
- This plan requires a full 12-month commitment but allows customers to pay monthly.
- You can only reduce or remove licenses once per year, within 7 days of renewal.
- If you miss this window, you are locked in for another year.
Example:
- If you bought 20 licenses in January but only need 15 in March, you cannot remove the extra 5 licenses until your next renewal (next January).
3️⃣ Annual Commitment Paid Upfront (P1YA)
- This plan is fully prepaid for 12 months.
- No reductions or cancellations are allowed during the year.
- If you purchase licenses, you must pay for them for the entire year.
Example:
- If you prepay for 50 licenses but only need 40, you will not get a refund or be able to adjust until your renewal date.
